Hi there,
I hope you are doing as well as possible during these trying times. If you’re looking for a productive distraction this week, I have great news for you – there are brand new projects for you to check out!
Seal Watch
In this project researchers need your help to identify elephant seals and fur seals in the Southern Ocean so that they can learn more about their breeding and monitor their populations.

Fishing in the Past
Here your task is to identify fish in paintings from the 16h, 17th, and 18th centuries so that the researchers can better understand the biodiversity and commercial use of fish during this time.

The Koster Seafloor Observatory
In this project researchers need your help to explore the biodiversity of Sweden’s marine habitats so that they can measure how climate change and human activities are affecting these ecosystems.

Weather 100 – Eskdalemuir
Researchers from the Met Office in the UK need your help to rescue data from 100 years of hand-written records taken at the Eskdalemuir Observatory in southwest Scotland. Once they have these data the researchers can use it to improve climate models and predictions.

Thanks for all your help!
